Will 2023 users conference have a virtual option?
Due to the overwhelming interest in an in-person event, we have decided not to have a virtual option for this year’s Users Conference. We will instead focus on generating informative, educational, and beneficial in-person content and networking activities. If you are interested in attending, please register now.

What if I have an airline credit from the 2022 IDEMIA Users Conference?
IDEMIA requests that your 2022 airline credit be used towards your airfare for IDEMIA Users Conference 2023. Please contact our team to discuss logistics: UsersConference@us.idemia.com
What is the group’s special room rate?
Deluxe Room: $215/night (for a Deluxe Room)
Room Taxes: 16.75%: $36.01
Room Tourism Assessment 1.25%: $2.69
Total Room Cost: $253.70
How do I reserve a room at the hotel?
You will receive a link to access the IDEMIA Users Conference 2023 room block. If you need additional information, or have not received that information, please contact us.
What is the registration fee for onsite attendance?
Same as last year, IDEMIA is offering an early-bird discount. Registering before June 1st will save you over 20% for in-person registration with our early-bird pricing. For $955 you will receive three full days of hands-on training, certificate classes, and knowledge-building, along with lectures, workshops, and social activities with a community of like-minded people. After June 1st, the registration fee will increase to $1,215.

What is the difference between a pre-paid registration and a paid in-person registration?
Pre-paid registrations are included in the customer maintenance and are pre-negotiated for the number of seats. If customers want to increase their number of attendees, outside of their pre-paid seats, they simply need to purchase additional registrations at the paid in-person rate through the IDEMIA Users Conference website. Please note that pre-paid seats include access to the conference program, certificate classes, trainings sessions, airfare, hotel, transportation, meals, and networking events. For paid in-person registrations that are done outside of the maintenance contract, it includes access to the conference program, certificate classes, trainings sessions, meals, and networking events. It does not include airfare, hotel, and transportation.
What cleaning actions are being taken by IDEMIA for this event?
IDEMIA is committed to providing a clean and healthy environment. For this reason, we encourage anyone who is experiencing flu-like symptoms to stay home. There will be hand sanitizer readily available all over the conference for attendees to use. The Grand Hyatt Riverwalk also has advanced cleaning options to help against the spread of COVID-19. Is there a dress code for any of the events?
Yes, there are recommended attires for the events during the conference. Business casual is appropriate for all daytime sessions, events, certificate classes, and lectures. For evening events, you may dress in casual attire for the Welcome Reception on Monday, September 25, 2023, the Demo Room Opening on Tuesday, September 26, 2023, and Night at the Alamo on Wednesday, September 27, 2023. For the Banquet Dinner on Thursday, September 28, 2023, cocktail attire is recommended.
When is IDEMIA’s 2023 Annual Users Conference?
Monday, September 25th (6:30pm), through Thursday, September 28th (9:00pm).
Am I allowed to bring a guest, and will that be an additional cost?
Yes, attendees are allowed to bring a guest. If the guest wants to participate in our meals and networking/social events, there is an additional cost of $620, prior to June 1st and $780 after June 1st. If you want to just bring a guest, but they will not attend any networking/social events or meals, then you’ll be responsible for covering the expenses associated with bringing that
person (i.e. airfare, etc.)
What is the nearest airport?
San Antonio International Airport (SAT), 10 miles away from the conference site.
What dates/times should I schedule my travel?
The first event will begin Monday evening September 25th with a Welcome Reception. Our last event, our popular banquet, will commence Thursday evening, September 28th. Suggested travel dates are to arrive Sunday or Monday afternoon (depending on your location of departure) and depart on Friday morning.
How do pre-paid and sponsored attendees arrange for airline travel?
Once registration is open you can select your travel preferences when you register on the conference website.
How do general attendees arrange for airline travel?
General attendees may use their preferred travel service or airline to make reservations.
How do I register for the conference?

How do I register if conference passes are included in my maintenance contract?
Change answer to “If you believe you are a prepaid registration slot, and are getting the wrong
registration screen (i.e. asking you to pay for your registration), it means we do not have you in the system correctly. Please contact us to get this corrected before completing your registration.
When does registration close?
Registration closes on September 8th.
What is the cancellation policy if I need to cancel my registration?
Registration is transferrable, but not refundable. If you need to change the name of the registrant, please contact us.

Am I required to upload proof of my vaccine/PCR COVID-19 test?
