Mobile Biometric Check is an advanced mobile application to help law enforcement, border patrol and fraud investigation officers conduct identification checks on the go. Officers can use their smartphone camera to verify a person’s identity by matching their fingerprints or face against an authorized central law enforcement database. IDEMIA’s industry-leading face and finger identification system quickly returns search results for officer review. Mobile Biometric Check uses cutting-edge contactless technology to automatically detect and capture facial images and fingerprints for rapid identification.
- Easy to use – It’s as easy as taking a picture: the Mobile Biometric Check application uses the camera in the officers’ existing mobile devices, features one-hand operation and requires no direct contact with subjects. The device vibrates when results are ready.
- Secure –The Mobile Biometric Check application usage is protected through two-factor authentication, including a user-defined login and biometric verification, ensuring a secure process.

IDent 2.0 is an advanced hand-held fingerprint device that enables real-time identification based on IDEMIA’s world-class biometric technology. Law enforcement can use IDent 2.0 to easily capture and submit fingerprints for search to one or many criminal databases.
- FBI-Certified, FAP 30 Single-finger Scanner – Captures up to 10 fingers. Easy to use, with on-screen instructions and visual confirmation of fingerprint images. FAP 30 sensor ensures captured fingerprints are the highest quality and provide the greatest likelihood of identification.
- Touchscreen and Physical Buttons – Combines the benefits of a 3.5 inch touch screen display with the proven reliability of physical buttons, with touch screen buttons and physical buttons aligned to make it easy to identify the desired action. Operators can complete all major functions, including capture workflow, either by making a selection on the screen or by pressing a physical button. Advanced features can be accessed through traditional touchscreen actions.
- USB and Bluetooth/Mobile Connection – Captured fingerprints can be transferred to a PC in two different ways: Connection to a Windows PC via a USB cable or communication via Bluetooth.
